Amascut borrows its progression structure from outside RuneScape: a Tree of Ascension skill tree closer to Path of Exile than to anything in the original game, layered over Old School RuneScape content. Three experience modes set the pace, from Highthane at five times through Alderman at twenty-five to Commoner at fifty, and a prestige system extends the endgame. Custom bosses include global avatar encounters and fights triggered by player votes. New accounts get a guided task checklist rather than being dropped in cold. Hiscores are integrated with the website, RuneLite is supported, and it plays on mobile.
