1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RuneIndex ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. RuneIndex reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

2. Description of Service

RuneIndex is a community-driven directory and ranking platform for RuneScape Private Servers (RSPS). We provide server listing, voting, and review services. We do not host, operate, or endorse any private server listed on the platform. All listed servers are independently operated by third parties.

3. Intellectual Property Disclaimer

RuneIndex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Jagex Ltd. in any way. "RuneScape" is a trademark of Jagex Ltd. All references to RuneScape are purely for descriptive purposes. Server owners are solely responsible for ensuring their server complies with applicable laws and Jagex's policies.

4. Server Listings

By submitting a server listing, you agree that:

• You are the legitimate owner or authorized representative of the server.
• All information provided is accurate and up to date.
• Your server does not violate any applicable laws.
• You will not engage in vote manipulation, botting, or any artificial inflation of stats.
• RuneIndex may remove any listing at its sole discretion for violations of these terms.

5. Voting System

Votes are limited to one per IP address per 12-hour period per server. Any attempt to manipulate, automate, or spoof votes is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent removal of the listing. RuneIndex reserves the right to adjust or remove votes in cases of suspected manipulation without prior notice.

6. Reviews and User Content

Users may post reviews and comments about listed servers. By submitting content, you grant RuneIndex a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content. You agree not to submit false, defamatory, or misleading reviews. RuneIndex may remove any content at its discretion. We do not verify the accuracy of user reviews.

7. Advertising and Promoted Listings

Paid advertising slots and promotional tiers are subject to additional terms provided at checkout. Payment is non-refundable once a promotional period has begun. RuneIndex reserves the right to remove promoted listings that violate these terms without refund. Promotional placements are clearly labeled as such.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. RuneIndex does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any server listings, player counts, or uptime data. We are not responsible for any losses incurred through use of or reliance on listed servers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RuneIndex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service or any server listed herein. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to RuneIndex in the 30 days prior to the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
